CONCRETE CURB STONES They are made manually or with machines in the factory and their purpose is to bound and form the pavement of streets, roads, playgrounds, pedestrian areas and garden alleys. 1. Design Depending on their form, the curb stones could be rectangular, V-shaped and arch-shaped. Depending on their purpose, they could be intended for streets, roads and pedestrian areas. 2. Fitting The curb stones are fitted manually. A line is outlined through the casting of blinding concrete B 10. The stones are arranged and grouted with cement-and-sand mix M 15. 3. Use and transport When the utilization requirements are observed, the life is long enough and no special maintenance is required. The loading and unloading of the curb stones is done mechanically and they should be protected from mechanical damage. The loading and unloading of the curb stones shall not be done through free falling in and out of the vehicle.

CONCRETE GUTTERS FOR DRAINING ROAD EMBANKMENTS 500/390/200 MM They are used to drain surface rain water from the roadway and the bench in the road embankment areas. 1. Design The use of the manufactured concrete gutters for draining road embankments at each site should be according to an investment project, developed and approved in the respective legal manner, while observing the technical construction norms. 2. Installation The concrete gutters for draining road embankments are installed on preliminary made 15 cm thick sand cushion or on casted strips of blinded concrete – 10 cm thick. The joints between the elements shall be grouted with cement-and-sand mix M 15 mark. The installation is performed manually by two fitters. 3. Use and transport The concrete gutters for draining road embankments have a long life. They could be transported with any vehicles. They should be arranged in such manner that they do not bang in each other or in the vehicle body. They should be protected from hits during loading, unloading and storage. 4. Maintenance There are no special maintenance requirements.

Rubble for lining 1. Fitting: Rubble is aligned on even and strong base in fields shaped by deformation joint of 2 cm. Cement-and-sand mix with the consistency of moist earth or connecting glue is used for gluing. The rubble is jointed after it is leveled. It could be used in 24 hours. 2. Transport: The transportation could be performed with any vehicle. The loading and unloading is mechanical on pallets or manual but measures to protect the rubble from mechanical damage shall be taken. 3. Use: The life of rubble is 30 years and no special maintenance is required.

Use and transport The concrete gutter lining plates could be transported on any vehicle. The loading and transportation of the plates is permitted only after the concrete strength has become not less than 15 Mpa. They should be arranged in such manner that they do not bang in each other or in the vehicle body. They should be protected from hits during loading, unloading and storage. 4. Maintenance There are no special maintenance requirements.
